He'd need to be assassinated or die of natural causes, essentially. Since neither of these things seem particularly likely in the next year (maybe in 3 out of 100 possible worlds, or probably slightly higher than the actuarial tables to account for assassination)? There's always a chance he's removed, but I don't think he gives up power that easily.
