The political will of the Russian civilian has been so subverted by pervasive prevailing propaganda, that the public sentiment has adapted cynicism and submission as their status quo. Change is not in their immediate future. It will take a significant erosion of the public's quality of life for collective action to form. There is food. There is electricity. There is TV. Corruption is a standard. They can live with crime and murder because they believe 'it's normal.' The believe their government is an immovable monolith... and they Putin is the avatar of the government. It is going to take a pretty big fuck up that affects the average Boris to act.
