If you’re interested in becoming a paid Pro Forecaster, you can start earning credentials to be considered! Forecasters who are in the top 25% of the leaderboard during the first half, and at the end, of the 2022 Season will earn the Pro Starter badge to be displayed on your profile and highlight you as a potential Pro in the future. For each of the two reward periods, five Pro Starters will earn $1,000, $750, $500, $350, and $250, respectively.

Active Pro Forecasters are not eligible for this award.

In the event of a tied ranking, we will award the forecaster with the most active days of forecasting during the time period.

For July 31, 2022 rewards: You must have been an active forecaster since January 31, 2022, including forecasting on at least 5 scored questions and making at least 20 forecasts.

For December 31, 2022 rewards: The criteria will be defined at the time of reward selection on December 31, 2022. We will take into account all of the following to rank Pro Starters: 1) your accuracy score ranking; 2) what portion of the total possible scored questions you’ve participated in; and 3) consistent monthly activity since July 31, 2022.
General note about rewards: Winners will receive their reward via money transfer through the apps, Gusto (U.S.) or Veem (outside U.S.). We can only fulfill reward payments for individuals residing internationally in countries supported by Veem. INFER rewards and challenges are completely voluntary. If you choose to participate, there may be instances, such as for team-related challenges or to claim a reward, where you may need to identify yourself by sharing personal information, including your email address, with your teammates and/or the INFER team. If you do not feel comfortable providing this information, you do not need to participate. INFER reserves the right to modify challenge guidelines or reward amounts.
