There is an election in Russia in March, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_Russian_presidential_election with opinion polls putting Putin at over 60% and the alternatives polling at less than 5% it seems extremely unlikely he will lose the election. It's also very unlikely we will step down and the only other option is if he dies which is also very unlikely.
