Carlos Hernández Vázquez holds an MA in Law Enforcement, Security and Intelligence from the University of Buckingham in the UK (Student Chevening 2018-2019) and a bachelor's degree in Law from the Autonomous National University of Mexico in Mexico.
At present, Mr. Hernández is a Consultant on countering corruption, security, law enforcement, intelligence. He is also Lecturer of Security and Intelligence at Anáhuac University and invited lecturer in other Higher Education Institutions in Mexico. Additionally, he is a Member of the Association of Certified Financial Crime Specialists' Board (ACFCS) Chapter México.
Previously, Mr. Hernández worked at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Mexico and Central America, coordinating projects on anti-corruption, security, crime prevention, criminal justice, and health. He also performed as a legal advisor of the UNODC Office.
