Why do you think you're right?

Environmental sensors using bioelectronics have the potential to be the most commercially adopted category due to their broad applications, lower regulatory barriers, and scalability. With increasing global concerns about pollution, climate change, and water quality, bio-based sensors that detect toxins, pathogens, or environmental changes will be in high demand. Unlike implantable medical devices, which face strict regulations and high costs, environmental sensors can be deployed faster and at scale, making them attractive for governments, industries, and even consumers. Advances in microbial fuel cells, bio-hybrid air quality monitors, and water contamination detectors make this a rapidly growing field, and large-scale adoption could happen sooner than medical bioelectronics due to public health and environmental priorities.

Why might you be wrong?

If technological limitations slow the development of reliable bioelectronic environmental sensors, preventing them from outperforming existing sensor technologies.

Why do you think you're right?

Till now FDA has not approved repurposing existing drug used for neurodegenrative diseases for Traumatic brain injuries. There are few drugs such as buntanetap, edaravone which has shown efficiency in brain injury treatment but they have not been fully tested yet. And these drugs need to be accurate enough to be used in sensible brain traumatic injury so it will take a long time for any reusable drug to be approved.

Why might you be wrong?
With advancement in medical technology, there can be a little bit of chance of this happening.

Why do you think you're right?

While initially I was also not quite optmistic on its possibility and based on other forecasters forecast, I am reducing the chance of probability as well.

Why might you be wrong?

Technology has brought a lot of impossible to reality so leaving a little room for that.
